WHY USE FOUNDATIONS BAMBOO FLOORING?

Bamboo is significantly more renewable than hardwood; reaching maturity in 3-6 years as opposed to 80-120 years.
The adhesives used in the manufacture of Foundations Bamboo are environmentally sound, and the formaldehyde emissions from our floors are well below stringent European (E1) standards.
Bamboo is a very durable material and our Strand bamboo is almost twice as hard as Red Oak (Janka ball test).
Our bamboo floor is precision milled with tongue and groove to allow for easy installation using nails, glue, or staples. It can be installed over plywood or over a concrete slab.
Our floors are finished with six coats of non-toxic, extremely durable UVcured aluminum oxide infused polyurethane that is durable and does not off-gas.
